Cancer Patient Outreach Workshop
Date: November 1, 2014, 2:00-5:00 pm
Bottles of Hope was started in 1999 by a Rhode Island cancer survivor and has spread internationally. Bottles are made by artists, students, survivors and many more who volunteer their time and love. Participants use colorful polymer clay, an oven-bake modeling material, to decorate small glass bottles, one they can bring home and others which will be donated to the Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven Hospital. No previous experience using polymer clay is required and all levels of crafters 16 years and older are welcome. Diane Villano, founding president of the Southern Connecticut Polymer Clay Guild will conduct the workshop.
No Charge for participating
